Our Designs for Municipal Architecture Projects in New Jersey
Over the years, the team at O’Brien Architects Inc. has worked on several different municipal architecture projects in New Jersey. For each design we take on, we focus on providing smart layouts that reduce budget costs. We’ve created plans for courthouses, libraries, county health departments, and other municipal and civic structures. Check out our latest projects below:
Courthouse Elevation
Our firm has been providing services to Warren County, NJ, for the past eight years. We have worked on Phase 2 of the courthouse renovations. Additional phases were also planned in late 2015. For Phase 1, we renovated 2,400 sq. ft. of the existing space and added 3,200 sq. ft. of the new courtroom and office space.

Warren County Library Design
Our office provided the County with a design of two existing office buildings. One housed the Human Services Department, and the other the Library Headquarters, each having 14,000 sq. ft. of space. Once again, as with all of our projects for the County, we provided a design that was under budget.
County Health Department Renovation
Warren County hired our firm to renovate an old three-story stone building and a caretaker’s house to contain the County Health Department. In a public bid, we provided a design that came in under budget, and the County occupied the new facility in a record of eight months.
